Position Summary:
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
Monitor network and system performance and troubleshoot issues
Work with end users and department heads to identify needs and resolve issues
Manage end user accounts, permissions, access rights and storage allocations
Ensure regulatory compliance
Ensure the integrity and security of enterprise data and systems
Field, document and resolve help requests from end users
Fix, install, update, and upgrade end user equipment including PC’s, laptops, peripherals
Coordinate adds, moves, changes
Support core software/hardware systems
Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Working technical knowledge of PC operating systems including Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows AD
and server versions including Windows Server 2003, 2008
Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols and standards
Ability to troubleshoot PC and network issues (Hands-on troubleshooting experience)
Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
Ability to conduct research into technical issues and products as required
Strong written and oral communications skills
Good interpersonal skills
Analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Strong customer service orientation
Self-motivated
EDUCATION
College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or 4 years equivalent work
experience preferred
EXPERIENCE
- Hands-on experience in the IT field preferred
Medical facility experience a plus
