The Practice Development (PDM) Midwife is a proactive midwifery leader, teacher and role model hosted by the Family Health Division to work across NUH maternity services developing best practices related to student midwifery practice education to ensure maximum success of achieving professional registration upon completion of midwifery training.

To act as a visible resource of support and advice for senior midwives , divisional education leads, practice supervisor / assessor and managers in practice, specifically in relation to cases where there are concerns relating to student/learner or practice supervisor / assessor competence and capability.
