Job Title: Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)

Hours: 8am o 5pm, M-F, No on call
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate, highly skilled Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our women’s health team. The CNM will provide comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecological care to patients. This role emphasizes patient education, evidence-based practice, and collaborative care with physicians and healthcare professionals in a supportive and empowering environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide full-scope midwifery care to low- and moderate-risk patients, including prenatal, labor and delivery, postpartum, and routine gynecological services.
- Conduct physical exams, obtain medical histories, and order/interpret diagnostic tests.
- Monitor fetal development and maternal health throughout the pregnancy.
- Attend and manage deliveries in both hospital and birth center settings, as appropriate.
- Provide family planning counseling and contraceptive management.
- Educate patients on reproductive health, childbirth preparation, and newborn care.
- Collaborate with OB/GYNs and other members of the healthcare team to ensure integrated, high-quality care.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Participate in continuing education, peer review, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nurse-Midwifery from an accredited program.
- Current RN and APRN licensure in Georgia.
- Certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB).
- BLS and NRP certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred, but new graduates will be considered.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills.
