TMS Technician / Medical Assistant
Overview:
Complete Healthcare for Women is seeking a detail-oriented TMS Technician/Medical Assistant to join our team. This dual role supports Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatments and provides clinical and administrative assistance in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
Responsibilities:
- Administer TMS treatments according to provider protocols.
- Monitor patients during sessions for safety and comfort.
- Record and maintain accurate treatment and medical records.
- Room patients, take vital signs, and assist with exams.
- Perform scheduling, insurance verification, and administrative duties.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA, RMA, or equivalent).
- Previous TMS experience a plus (training available for the right candidate).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or must be obtained within 30 days.
- Strong interpersonal skills and comfort with EHR systems.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in behavioral health, neurology, or outpatient care.
- Familiarity with TMS systems like NeuroStar.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
