We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor/Delivery Manager (Registered Nurse) to lead our high-performing Women's Center. Description:
As the Labor/Delivery Manager, you will provide 24-hour operational and clinical leadership for the Labor and Delivery unit. Your responsibilities will span oversight of labor, delivery, recovery, antepartum, postpartum care, and the newborn nursery. You will ensure exceptional patient care standards are met, lead and mentor your nursing team, manage unit resources effectively, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and healthcare professionals in our highly-rated Women's Center.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive 24-hour management and leadership for the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Ensure patient care consistently meets and exceeds established standards.
- Directly supervise and support nursing staff on the unit.
- Oversee and optimize the delivery of comprehensive nursing care across the L&D spectrum.
- Maintain strict compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Foster strong collaboration with physicians and other healthcare team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Continuously monitor unit performance metrics and implement strategic improvements.
- Effectively manage the unit's budget, staffing levels, and resources.
Minimum Mandatory Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, BSN required.
- Current RN license in the State of Nevada. (MANDATORY)
- Current ACLS Certification.
- Current NRP Certification.
- Current BCLS Certification.
- Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience required.
- One (1) to two (2) years progressive management experience required.
