We are seeking an experienced full-time Medical Receptionist to work in our Honolulu office. Advanced Reproductive Center of Hawaii specializes in Infertility and In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). If you are willing to learn, we are willing to teach! Bilingual (Japanese & English or Mandarin & Cantonese a plus!)

Responsibilities include handling/managing busy phone lines, scheduling appointments, creating and maintaining current demographic information in charts, requesting patient co-pays, day-end balancing/batching, confirming next day appointments, distribute all mail and faxes, scan paper documents into patients’ electronic charts, acting as a liaison between patients and physicians, assisting our patients with medication questions, reviewing laboratory results, answering procedure questions, providing general counseling, and helping to promote a fun, friendly, and compassionate atmosphere for our patients.

Requirements include aptitude to work independently and demonstrate good judgment, ability to educate patients and to provide instruction on proper care and follow up, ability to perform concentrated and complex mental activity with frequent involvement with complex and highly technical situations, ability to work under pressure and multi-task, ability to work varying hours as needed, including weekends and holidays. Applicants should be enthusiastic and maintain a positive attitude, work well with diverse personalities, win cooperation from others, exhibit honesty and integrity, develop trust, be a self-starter, demonstrate a professional attitude and commitment to ARCH, and understand that keeping our patients calm and happy is our number one priority.

Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8:00-4:30

Saturdays as needed from 7:30-11:30
