Description
- Performs clinical duties in support of IVF procedures and research with the ultimate goal of optimizing human in vitro fertilization (IVF) procedures.
- Extensive microscope and gamete micromanipulation work is required.
- Must maintain composure during intense, time-constrained work.
- Works with the lab supervisor to provide direction for the technical operation of the laboratory, including operation and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments and procedures.
- Responsibilities also include addressing customers concerns, assisting in developing and implementing new technologies and services according to the Mayo Quality System Essentials.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science (CLS), medical technology (MT), chemistry, or biological science.
- Extensive microscope and gamete micromanipulation work is required
- Desirable qualifications include coursework or training in reproductive physiology, gamete biology, sterile technique and microbiology.
- General laboratory and tissue culture experience preferred.
- Must be able to accommodate scheduling adjustments including off-shifts, holiday, on-call, and weekend work assignments.
- Must be self-motivated, organized, capable of performing under time constraints and disciplined in order to produce quality results which are essential for successful IVF procedures.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
