Job Description
OBJECTIVE/ PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To provide clinical support to end-users using our surgical devices and products, to assist in installation & troubleshooting with field service engineers for the products, to continuously train end-users, provide full clinical and technical assistance to ensure full performance of the products during surgery, liaise with suppliers for successful implementation and running of the clinical program related to the product.
Key Responsibilities
- First level customer/supplier interface clinically.
- Constantly update knowledge for all instruments and software supplied by company by certifications and training sessions necessary to maintain appropriate level of professional competence.
- Prepares clinical support plan ahead to ensure proper market coverage.
- Promotes & updates company’s products to customers on regular basis and take ownership in the end user education about the product.
- Conducting regular demonstrations of products to customers.
- Provide on-call application support to end-users for all relevant instruments.
- Organize Continuous Medical Education, training and workshops for end-users in coordination with supplier.
- Participate in relevant trade shows.
- Evaluating and differentiating all the features and benefits of the product and get them approved by the Sales Manager and Business Unit Manager.
- Takes action on basic customer related issues within the guidelines, however reports complex issues to next level for quick action & swift resolution.
- Responsible for reviewing and maintaining the inventory of the department.
- Ensure timely invoicing, deliveries and installation of demo related products at Customer site.
- Provide management team with details on upcoming projects, opportunities, sales & ways to achieve growth.
- Assist, in the absence of the Sales Manager, with sales and product delivery related activities.
- Review feedback from customers, compile and analyze support data and recommend changes as appropriate.
- Gathers and derives knowledge from market data.
- Analyses market trend, new product and demand to provide specific product support to customers.
- Identify and investigate needs and improvement opportunity and provides information to Managers in order to facilitate change or improvement.
- Planning daily, weekly and monthly activities to reach the set smart goals
Skills
JOB REQUIREMENT
- University Degree with a biomedical engineering or nursing background required.
- Knowledge of operating Room & surgical endoscopy/laparoscopy equipment is preferred.
- Basic understanding on Software, IT workflow is an advantage
- Minimum of 4 years work experience handling operating theatre/ surgery products in sales/application or service.
- Excellent in English
- Very organized and hard worker.
- Should have strong communication & interpersonal skills.
- Should be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and be able to multitask.
- Should be available on-call 24/7 for application support.
- Should have good logical reasoning & problem solving skills.
- Strong Selling, Presentation, and team working skills.
