Ferring+You
Reporting to the Business Unit Director - Specialty, the Senior Product Manager will focus on driving the successful launch of new pharmaceutical products and managing the product lifecycle from inception to post-launch. Your day at Ferring
Product Strategy & Leadership:
- Lead the development and execution of the product strategy for new pharmaceutical products, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Work cross-functionally with R&D, regulatory, commercial, and marketing teams to ensure the successful development and timely launch of products.
- Define and manage product roadmaps, prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and market trends.
Launch Management:
- Drive end-to-end launch planning and execution, ensuring readiness across all functions (e.g., commercial, manufacturing, supply chain, etc.).
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure seamless product introduction to the market, including regulatory submissions, pricing, market access, and promotional strategies.
- Analyze competitive landscapes and customer feedback to optimize product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration:
- Act as the primary point of contact for senior leadership and key stakeholders regarding product status, milestones, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Partner with commercial teams to ensure alignment between product development and market needs, including sales enablement and training.
- Lead product-related meetings and present updates on progress, risks, and opportunities to executive teams.
Post-Launch Optimization:
- Monitor post-launch performance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for optimization or improvements.
- Use market insights, sales feedback, and product performance data to inform future product iterations and lifecycle management.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in product management within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Proven experience managing the full product lifecycle, with a focus on successful product launches (new drug products or therapeutic indications).
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations, market access, and commercialization strategies.
Skills & Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively across global markets and matrix organizations.
- Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to handle complex initiatives and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data and drive decision-making.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical market, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
- Growth mindset and positive attitude.
Preferred:
- Experience with rare disease, oncology, or biologics product launches.
- Knowledge of digital health innovations and the integration of digital tools in product management.
- Effective influencing competencies, positive attitude, self-motivated, and possessing high learning agility
- Advanced computer skills, including: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, One Drive, Outlook), as well as other software packages and platforms – OCE CRM, Dashboards, Navision (Finance), etc.
- Ability to travel as per industry standards
