Department: Marketing
Reports To: Marketing Manager
Job Type: 15–20 hrs/wk | $25 to $35/hr (base pay + commission)
Role (Overview of the Position):
Fertility Friday Publishing is a high-level women's health and fertility coaching business that operates entirely online. We believe that the menstrual cycle is the fifth vital sign, providing a personalized way for women to track their hormonal health. Our mission is to empower our clients to take full control of their health & fertility by teaching them to read & interpret their fifth vital sign through fertility awareness and menstrual cycle tracking.
That's where you come in! The social media coordinator will administer the company’s social media marketing and advertising strategy across multiple platforms (notably, IG, FB, and LI) to generate leads and sales every day. At Fertility Friday, we look beyond vanity metrics (i.e. likes and follows) to ensure our social media impacts our bottom line. We're looking for someone with ideas, strategy, and management skills to optimize our reach and impact via our social media channels.
Responsibilities (tasks associated with the role):
- Stay on top of trends in social media and consistently generate and execute new content strategies.
- Build a content creation system: batch and schedule content for posting weeks in advance.
- Brand Management: Keeping our brand and voice consistent across our social platforms (primarily IG, FB, and LI).
- Content creation and repurposing: Whether it’s social media captions, weekly emails, DMs, or blog posts, WRITING is a big part of this position.
- Create graphics for posts and stories or outsource graphics to another designer in-house (as needed).
- Manage your time effectively to ensure all the balls in the air stay in the air! (Multiple channel engagement is not for the faint of heart).
- Lead generation and sales: Your main focus will be creating content that generates leads and sales in the business.
- Track key metrics and sales for each social media channel to determine overall marketing strategy.
- Manage social media inboxes and respond or engage with all comments.
- Promote our products and services organically: create strategies and content plans to sell company products and services. Bonus compensation is part of this plan, and your success in this area will directly correlate to higher earnings.
Requirements (expected proficiencies to excel in this role):
- 2 or more years of experience with social media strategy and management.
- Daytime availability (Eastern Time)
- Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn EXPERT.
- You are an expert in all things Canva.
- Experience with Chat GPT, Later, and Headliner.
- Availability to monitor social media channels Monday through Friday, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Experience managing a social content calendar, paid social advertising campaigns, and social activity monitoring.
- Experience analyzing and summarizing metrics/data to identify trends and make recommendations.
- Organized online, in life and in your head — it comes naturally to you.
- Project management skills that would make Monday and Asana cry.
- A self-starter with the willingness and desire to "roll up your sleeves" and get the job done.
- A balance of visionary and hard-working 'finisher.' You're an 'ideas person' and can easily envision social media campaigns and plan out what needs to be done — AND you are up to the task of executing and finishing projects in a timely fashion.
- Learner. You consume and create new things (to test new ideas/concepts/theories). You are on the cutting edge of the industry.
- Preference for working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Commitment to providing a high level of customer service.
- Reliable internet connection.
- Reliable and distraction-free work environment.
