Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacy Manager to oversee the daily operations of our new pharmacy in Burlington. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of pharmaceutical practices, pharmacy operations, demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role is essential in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to our patients while managing a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians and assistants. There will be a very strong focus on fertility medications and care, and you will benefit from working alongside doctors and nurses in a clinic setting.
Duties
- Supervise and manage pharmacy staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Oversee medication dispensing processes, ensuring accuracy and safety in all prescriptions filled.
- Maintain compliance with OCP regulations regarding pharmacy operations.
- Implement quality assurance programs to enhance patient safety and service quality.
- Provide consultation to healthcare professionals and patients regarding medication therapy management.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications and supplies.
- Conduct staff training sessions on new medications, protocols, and best practices in pharmacy management.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop patient care plans that optimize therapeutic outcomes.
Experience
- Active Level A pharmacist licence and registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists is required.
- Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a pharmacy setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and pharmaceutical standards is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with staff, patients, and healthcare providers.

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
