About The Opportunity
As a member of our Shannex Clinical Practice support team, you will provide 1:1 clinical support for newly licensed nurses, ensuring they thrive in their roles. This contract position offers flexibility and variety in your career, with the opportunity to contribute your skills while enjoying a healthy work-life balance.
As a dedicated and experienced nurse, you value continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability. You are eager to share your expertise and contribute to the success of our clinical team.
About You
In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:
- A Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse and are currently registered with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing (NSCN) with a minimum of 10 years of Canadian nursing experience
- Proficiency in English (Ability to speak Mi’kmaq is an asset)
- Ability to provide a CPR & Emergency First Aid Certificate, Clear Criminal Record Check, and Vulnerable Sector Screening upon hire
- A passion for the healthcare sector and a commitment to ensuring seniors have access to high-quality accommodations, services, and care
- This position is ideal for nurses or retired nurses looking to re-enter the workforce.
