We are looking for an experienced, motivated, forward thinking, ODP/ Registered Nurse to work in our Surgical Theatres, Proton and Brachytherapy department. Our oncology theatre suite specialises in colorectal, plastic, urology and gynaecology, brachytherapy surgery, Robotic and a separate Proton treatment unit, which specialises in Paediatric anaesthesia.

The successful candidate will hold the appropriate qualifications to be a current registered practitioner (RGN or ODP) and demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development. You will be committed to delivering high quality care with a desire to further develop your career within this rewarding specialty. You will need to have very good communication skills, be highly motivated, organised and be able to work using your own initiative. Minimum 2 years Adult Anaesthetic and Recovery experience with Paediatric anaesthetic experience also desirable. Teaching and assessing skills are desirable. Ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills.
You will be required to work 37.5 hours, 4 or 5 days flexibly over 6 days (Monday to Saturday) with a commitment to out of hours on call.
