We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Clinical Quality & Procurement Supervisor to oversee all purchasing activities, quality control systems, and the maintenance of medical equipment at our fully independent fertility clinic. This strategic role is essential in ensuring smooth clinical operations, compliance with regulatory standards, and uninterrupted service delivery in our embryology and clinical departments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Procurement & Supplier Management
- Manage procurement of all medical, laboratory, and clinical supplies.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and service providers.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and cost-efficient procurement strategies.
- Work closely with the embryology, nursing, and admin teams to ensure all materials are fit-for-purpose and on time.
2. Medical Equipment Maintenance
- Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed for all medical and laboratory equipment (e.g., incubators, freezers, analysers, ultrasound machines).
- Coordinate with vendors for servicing, repairs, and warranty management.
- Keep detailed maintenance logs and certifications.
3. Quality Control & Compliance
- Implement and maintain internal SOPs for clinical quality assurance.
- Ensure compliance with national and international standards (e.g., EU Tissue and Cells Directive, ISO, ESHRE).
- Collaborate with the Quality Officer or other regulatory consultants as needed.
- Prepare documentation for inspections or accreditations.
4. Reporting & Oversight
- Report directly to the Managing Director.
- Provide monthly updates on procurement budget, quality incidents, and maintenance logs.
- Identify risks or inefficiencies and propose operational improvements.
👤 Ideal Candidate (CV Profile):
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology, Health Sciences, or related field.
- Master’s degree in Healthcare Management, Clinical Engineering, or Quality Systems (preferred).
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a hospital, IVF clinic, or biomedical setting, preferably in operations, quality, or procurement roles.
- Hands-on knowledge of medical equipment in fertility/IVF settings (e.g., incubators, cryo storage, time-lapse systems).
- Experience with clinical procurement systems and vendor negotiation.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or similar.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Knowledge of medical device regulations and clinical SOPs.
- Fluent in English; Turkish and/or Greek is a plus.
