Responsibilities:
- Apply the nursing process within Relationship-Based Care, setting patient-centered goals and providing holistic care.
- Utilize critical thinking to address clinical, social, safety, psychological, and spiritual needs while ensuring clear communication among care providers.
- Create a compassionate, healing environment, documenting care thoroughly to enhance team communication and improve patient outcomes.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for better patient care and professional practice.
- Actively participate in shared governance and change processes, supporting the transition to improved care practices.
- Use evidence-based practice to enhance clinical care, identifying research opportunities and advocating for quality improvements.
Additional Responsibilities
- Serve as a preceptor or mentor, supporting the development of students and new staff.
- Participate in unit-based governance and actively engage in improving the quality of care and professional environment.
- Adapt to change, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to continuous improvement in patient care.
- Skills: Ability to assess age-specific care needs, demonstrate clinical judgment, and apply critical thinking in patient care
- Communication: Build and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform frequent walking, standing, lifting, and patient positioning
- Licensure & Certifications:
- Current RN licensure or Temporary Practice Permit (TPP)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR (AHA standards, within 30 days of hire)
- National certification (preferred)
- Act 34 & OAPSA clearances
Flexible Shifts Available: Including premium pay for night or weekend shifts after 6 months of experience. Notify your recruiter if interested.
