Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Post Anesthesia Care Nurse located in Columbia, MD. The Post Anesthesia Care Nurse will be responsible for monitoring patients' recovery from anesthesia, providing critical care, and ensuring patient safety and comfort in the recovery room. They will also be expected to administer medications, perform necessary medical procedures, and communicate patient status with the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Nursing and Medicine skills
- Experience in Post Anesthesia Care and Critical Care Medicine
- Ability to provide high-quality care in the Recovery Room
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Current RN license in the state of Maryland
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications
- Experience in a surgical center or similar healthcare setting is a plus
