We are looking for an Assistant to join our Birth Center team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the medical field and be comfortable working laboring women. The Assistant will be responsible for assisting Midwives with patient care, performing routine medical tasks, and providing administrative support. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to providing the highest quality of care to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient care in the birth center.
- Assist with the charting and keeping rooms clean and well stocked.
- Maintain patient records and medical charts.
- Provide patient education as directed by Midwife
- become CPR and NRP certified
- attend birth assistant drills and meetings
