We invite applications for an open rank, open track full-time faculty position in Obstetrics and Gynecology. UNM's Academic Generalist Division has a busy clinical practice, and is active in research and education.

The successful incumbent must meet the listed minimum requirements and provide a current curriculum vitae at the time of application and a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Major and minor gynecologic surgeries
- Weekday labor and delivery coverage
- Minimum two days of private faculty clinic each week with a focus on both obstetrics and gynecology; you will be asked to take at least 3 new OB patients per clinic.
- Participation in the night and weekend L&D shift pool. Night and weekend L&D shifts worked are compensated according to the Department's current shift payment plan.
- Backup call as required for all members of the General Obstetrics and Gynecology Division. When required to be present in the hospital, back-up call is compensated hourly per departmental policy.
- Participation in clinical research: patient recruitment, investigator-coinvestigator, scholarly productivity.
- Evaluation and management of outpatient gynecologic and obstetric patients in resident clinics.
- Medical student and resident teaching at the bedside and didactics.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Eligible to work in the United States
- M.D. or D.O. degree or equivalent
- Board certified or eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Eligible for medical licensure in NM, State of New Mexico Board of Pharmacy certification, and federal DEA registration
