What You Will Do:The Patient Benefit Coordinator (PBC) Supervisor coordinates the financial aspects of a patient’s fertility journey while fostering a positive and memorable patient experience. The PBC Supervisor educates patients on benefit coverage, referral requirements and prior authorization requirements and timelines. The PBC Supervisor must be accessible to patients to serve as a resource for coverage questions. This position reports directly to the Senior Director, Patient Access.

Ensure an insurance verification has been done for all patients prior to the New Patient (NP) appointment and treatment cycles.

Supervise and assist the team to ensure insurance benefits have been entered in the practice management system and track any insurance changes that occur during patient care phases.

Supervise the team in verifying and adding valid insurance information.
-
Supervise the team in working reports delivered into daily inbox to obtain all necessary authorizations for all payers.
-
Supervise the team in addressing insurance coverage discrepancies (following verification) with the patient and advocate for patients experiencing difficulty with the insurance process.

Supervise the team in facilitating positive and proactive communication between the Patient Benefit Coordinators and Patient Financial Counselors for ease and seamless transition of patient information

Be available to assist with performing IVF Audits.

Serve as a resource to Physicians, Nurses, and Patient Care Coordinators regarding insurance coverage limitations on the patient’s care plan.

Assist direct manager with projects as assigned

Supervisor positions specifically work with multiple clinics and assists with providing coverage for PBC duties

What You Bring:

High School Diploma or GED required.
-
Associate’s degree or higher preferred.

Experience in healthcare preferred.

Ability to work weekends, evenings, or holidays, on a rotating basis.

CCRM’s Compensation: The salary range represents the national average compensation for this position. The base salary offered will vary based on location, experience, skills, and knowledge.
