The Southeastern North Carolina Healthy Start (SENCHS) Program Community Consortium Coordinator position is responsible for ensuring that required HS program deliverables are implemented through the provision of technical assistance and support to direct service staff housed at the two SENCHS funded sites. Also, the Program Coordinator provides oversight to and coordinates the SENCHS Community Consortium, comprised of SENCHS program participants, representatives from local health departments, community and faith-based organizations, community members and others from Cumberland and Hoke Counties. In addition, the position is responsible for assessing and responding to the training needs of local staff, including outreach/education and case management personnel. The candidate must live in either Cumberland or Hoke County. The position is housed in the Women, Infant and Community Wellness Section-Infant and Community Health Branch (ICHB).

Physical Requirements
This position will require frequent travel to locations in Hoke and Cumberland County.
This position will also require some travel to other locations, state-wide, as needed.
