We are looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated Senior Clinical Embryologists to join our friendly team here at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital in the City of London. Where we treat both NHS and self-funded patients from our local community and further afield.
The Embryology Team is compromised of ten HCPC registered clinical scientists, three who are working towards their registration, and one trainee.
Barts Health Centre for Reproductive Medicine is an Health Educastion England (HEE) accredited training centre and currently have several trainees enrolled in the Scientist Training Programme (STP) in Reproductive Science.
We provide a seven day week service which involves working one weekend per month and we complete about 1,000 treatment cycles per year. Applicants must enjoy working within a multi-disciplinary team, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be a strong team players, able to work independently and have good attention to detail, in order to deliver a high quality laboratory service to our patients.
- To participate in providing the laboratory skills essential for the efficient provision of fertility treatments within the Centre for Reproductive Medicine.
- To comply with the requirements of the Human Fertilisation & Embryology Authority as stated in the HFEA Code of Practice.
