Job Description
This department has full-time and on-call openings and is hiring for both. Flexibility to match your scheduling needs. Performs ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated ultrasound equipment, taking into account individual patient's special or age-related needs.
Required Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
- Board eligible for certification at American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- Oregon Sonographer upon hire or Oregon Sonographer Temporary upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- Upon hire: New graduates must be board eligible and obtain certification (ARDMS) within 6 months of hire.
- Upon hire: New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years - Clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound.
- 2 years - OBGYN sonography experience
- Multi-registered as a RVT and/or RDCS.
