Job Title: Nurse LPN/RN - Crisis Center (Weekdays)
Job Overview
Join our dedicated team at the Crisis Center Stabilization Center, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering compassionate and quality care to individuals in behavioral crises. We are currently offering a $4,000 sign-on bonus in recognition of the urgent service needs within our community. This full-time position is designed for weekdays, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care, including health and pain assessments, vital sign monitoring, and daily care of individuals.
- Administer medications, including injections, while ensuring adherence to medication protocols.
- Effectively manage medication records, including updating the Medication Administration Record (MAR) and inventorying controlled substances.
- Educate patients regarding their physical health and medication usage.
- Collaborate with team members, residents, families, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Document observable changes in patient behavior, attitudes, and physical conditions accurately.
- Assist in diagnostic and treatment procedures as required.
- Provide training on protocols and procedures to new staff.
- Contribute to team and leadership meetings regularly.
- Provide direct care to adults, including those who may present with agitation.
- Participate in mandatory overtime as needed.

- Knowledge and experience in patient education concerning health and medications.
- Capacity to work empathetically with potentially agitated patients.

Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in nursing required; Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
- Minimum of one year of psychiatric experience is essential; experience within an acute care or hospital setting is preferred.
- Valid licensure as an LPN or RN in the state of Missouri is mandatory.
