Overview
The Gynaecologist will serve as a vital component in the women's health department, providing specialized expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of various conditions affecting the reproductive system. The consultant will work two days a week, allowing flexibility in scheduling while ensuring comprehensive patient care. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough gynecological examinations and assessments.
- Diagnose and treat a range of reproductive health issues.
- Perform surgical procedures as necessary, including hysterectomies and laparoscopies.
- Provide pre-and post-operative care to patients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient history and needs.
- Utilize ultrasound and other diagnostic imaging to support patient evaluation.
- Educate patients on reproductive health and preventive care.
- Advise on family planning and contraceptive options.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers for comprehensive care.
- Document patient cases accurately and maintain up-to-date medical records.
- Stay informed on the latest advancements and guidelines in obstetrics and gynecology.
- Participate in continuous medical education and professional development.

Required Qualifications
- Medical degree (MBBS) with a specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology (MS, DGO).
- Active medical license to practice in the applicable region.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical setting.
- Strong understanding of gynecological disorders and treatments.
- Experience in performing surgical procedures relevant to the specialty.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients and staff.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a healthcare team.
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical medical practice.
- Proficient in using medical software and technologies.
