A health services network in New York City is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join their growing Women's Health team at one of their outpatient facilities in the South Bronx.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough health assessments for female patients, including physical exams, medical histories, and lab tests
- Diagnose and treat gynecological and reproductive conditions, such as menstrual disorders, STIs, menopause, and urinary tract infections
- Provide prenatal and postnatal care, including routine checkups, health education, and counseling
- Offer family planning services, including contraception counseling, fertility treatment, and preconception care
- Provide health education and counseling on topics such as sexual health, nutrition, exercise, and mental wellness
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner education program approved by the NYS Education Department
- NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner from a recognized accrediting body, such as the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)
- ACLS and/or BLS certifications
- Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or eligibility for registration
- Active Medicare/Medicaid enrollment or eligibility to enroll
- Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
- Microsoft Office suite proficient
