Are you passionate about providing excellent clinical care in a fast paced triage department?Our service needs a motivated and inspirational Band 6 Midwife to join our midwifery team within the labour ward triage department.
You will be a valued member of the team providing personalised care in line with the BSOTS framework, assessing and treating women throughout their antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal journey.
This post will give you the opportunity to utilise and develop your clinical midwifery skills and care for women presenting with concerns in pregnancy. You will have the opportunity to utilise your decision making skills and work in conjunction with the MDT to triage and plan care in the Triage department.
Main duties of the job
Within ASPH we have a range of services. We operate alongside, a birth centre, level 3 Neonatal Unit and high risk maternal and fetal medicine service. This will give you the opportunity to become skilled in high and low risk clinical care in an acute setting. An MDT approach is always used within these services and we work extremely closely with the team to ensure women are appropriately triaged and treated.
We pride ourselves in our working culture and the senior leadership team strive to improve the wellbeing and satisfaction of our colleagues. You will be provided opportunity for development and training within the trust and courses offsite. ASPH have recently opened a wellbeing hub and staff will have the opportunity to access the onsite gym and other resources.
