Hamilton Health Center, established in 1969, is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) located in Harrisburg, PA. Essential Functions :
Clinical Patient Care:
- Ensure the efficient delivery of top-quality healthcare in ambulatory, in-patient, and primary care settings, including care provided at Hamilton Health Center and UPMC Health System hospitals.
- Evaluate and manage women's health issues, both as a primary care provider and through consultation.
- Participate in meetings and care coordination with the Maternal-Fetal Medicine team and collaborate on high-risk patient care with the Interdepartmental Committee.
- Guarantee the routine completion of Center documentation, such as superbills, patient care notes, and on-call billing sheets, to meet legal and fiscal requirements.
Administrative:
- Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and Supervisor to establish clinical procedures that ensure quality care in the Women's Health Department.
- Actively participate in the chart review process, contributing to ongoing quality improvement.
- Attend meetings with the Chief Medical Officer and Nursing team as needed to address the Women's Health Department's requirements.
- Attend Provider Meetings, Clinical Focus Team (CFT) meetings, and other mandatory meetings for the Center.
Other Duties:
- Engage in ongoing professional development through continuing medical education (CME).
- Contribute to Center committees as needed, actively participating in various initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in basic data entry computer skills.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Team Player: An industrious and cooperative nature to foster harmonious working relationships with clinic management, physicians, clinicians, and the public.
- Education:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine with a degree of doctor of medicine,
- Completion of an internship at an approved hospital.
- Must be eligible or in possession of license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Board certified in recognized primary care medical specialty.
- Must complete the corporate credentialing process
- Must be accepted by the local affiliated hospital.
Preferred Qualifications: Three years of clinical practice after residency preferred.
- Knowledge of The Joint Commission regulations
- Bi-lingual in Spanish, Nepali, French
