We are currently recruiting a Sonographer to join us at the Rubino Group to do MFM-level anatomy scans. Must have Perinatal experience. This is a part-time position, with flexibility to pick up more hours at other locations as available.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Perform 4-7 Anatomy Scans per Day to be read by an off-site MFM provider.
- Perform NT, Growth, BPP, and GYN ultrasounds.
- Evaluate and assess patient’s health care needs based on patient’s signs and symptoms utilizing established protocols and guidelines.
- Obtain appropriate input and direction from the provider, as needed, to determine best clinical course of action and recommendations for specific patient health care.
- Follow policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure consistency and departmental effectiveness as well as improve health care outcomes of patients/callers and their access to appropriate health.
- Occasionally perform other scans besides anatomies as needed.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2 years experience performing Obstetrical scanning in an MFM department, a degree/certificate from an accredited ultrasound program and current RDMS, NT and CPR certifications. Knowledge of appropriate billing and diagnosis codes, Studycast and eClinicalWorks are beneficial.
