The Role
As Family Support Worker you will work closely with parents of children aged 0-6 years providing professional support, advice and planned interventions that achieve parenting confidence and capacity using a partnership, strength based and family centred approach. Experience in sleep and settling, feeding and behavioural management will be a key aspect of this role together with planning and delivering community events and activities across the municipality.
You will be working with the broader MCH team to promote awareness of the Maternal Child Health and Early Years Services and foster positive relationships with the community that encourage families within the Shire to engage with our service.

About You
You will have relevant tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood Development or similar and have experience in Early Years Services or Community Health.
A current drivers licence and Working With Children Check are essential.
