Job Description:- Provides direct care to patients using the nursing process, including ongoing assessment of the patient's needs.- Delivers skilled nursing services as prescribed by the physician's authorized plan of care, adhering to accepted standards of evidence-based nursing practice.- Provides direct patient care, including medication administration, treatments, education, responding to alarms, assisting with transfers, and other duties as appropriate.- Evaluates the effectiveness of the treatment plan and participates in updating/revising the plan in collaboration with other team members.- Complies with all local, state, and federal regulations and hospital-specific policies relating to care provided.- Functions as a team leader/member and resource to others, delegating and providing direction to support staff.- Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to establish goals and outcomes for each patient.- Meets the needs of all types of patients.- On-call duties required, no weekend call, every other weekend work required.
