Job Summary
The Reproductive Health Program Coordinator provides oversight of reproductive health services and programs. This position increases knowledge of reproductive health services and access to contraceptives and family planning resources through outreach, educational programs and materials, and distribution of contraceptives. The program coordinator will look to increase access to a variety of health services for state or other preventative screening and early detection programs and education and care management as needed.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Assists in pre-award activities including proposal and work plan preparation and budget development for a variety of reproductive health and/or health screening programs. These programs currently include but may not be limited to:
- Title X and SRHI
- EWM/STI Prevention state programs
- Men’s and Women’s Health grant
- Title V program funding
- Formally and informally assesses the family planning and preventive reproductive health service needs of individuals and communities served for future outreach, process or program development.
- Assures monitoring and completion of Title X work plans and budgetary compliance associated to the programs assigned.
- Maintains program records and is responsible for the production of all reports on program activities, accomplishments, and challenges including program statistics, evaluation, and demographic data and ensures timely submission of program reports to funding sources.
- Serves as primary contact to interface with grantors and contractor representatives on behalf of Midtown. Represents the agency in a professional manner but understands and advocates for the interests of Midtown and its patients to reach mutually beneficial arrangements and expectations.
- Develops and implements, in conjunction with appropriate agency administration, Title X and other required/needed policies, internal process improvement strategies and staff training to reflect program compliance and/or best practices for services. Ensures staff and providers are kept up to date with Title X and other policy changes. Assures accurate tracking of training.
- Serves as a community liaison for programs assigned as part of a coordinated community outreach effort to increase access of target and other populations to Midtown. Develops and maintains community partnerships to promote access to contraceptives, family planning resources, and preventive health services.
- Plans and delivers innovative and age-appropriate reproductive education programs and materials in northeast Nebraska at locations that are convenient to the target population especially as it relates to varied grant targeted service population.
- Ability to perform screening tests and provide treatment within scope of practice and in adherence to MHC standing orders as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Duties 1 through 9 are designated as ADA Essential Functions and must be performed in this job. All other job duties are secondary functions.

- Ability to actively participate in marketing and outreach activities when requested and emergency response events when required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) verbal and written skills highly desired.
- Ability to navigate EHR and communicable disease reporting systems
- Ability to engage individuals and/or groups; experience in public speaking.
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills in one-on-one and group situations and using the telephone.
- Must have knowledge of community resources and the ability to assess the need for referral.
Education And Experience, Licensure And Certification
- Nursing degree or bachelor’s degree in health education or related field preferred.
- Two years program management experience in a community health setting preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to utilize own transportation for work purposes.
