The Marshall School of Medicine is seeking a full-time faculty member for a Maternal and Fetal Medicine Physician. The successful candidate must have or be eligible to obtain license to practice medicine in the state of West Virginia.
The position involves both clinical, research, and teaching components. The successful candidate will evaluate and manage ambulatory and hospitalized high risk obstetric patients as well as performing antepartum fetal evaluation. Physician will provide on call coverage of high risk obstetrical patients with other obstetricians and MFM specialists. provider will be active in departmental and hospital outreach activities related to obstetrics and will participate in medical student and resident education. Physician will participate in research and publication in peer review journals is expected. Physician will perform all other appropriate duties as assigned by the Chair of the Department of Neuroscience and/or the division director.
Location MUSOM - Marshall University School of Medicine Salary Range Salary is commensurate with experience and internal equity

Required Qualifications
Education
- MD, DO, or equivalent degree
Experience
- Completion of residency training in obstetrics and gynecology and completion of subspeciality fellowship in Maternal and Fetal Medicine.
- Candidate must have general and subspeciality certification, or be an active candidate for certification, by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- The ideal candidate will have an interest in academic medicine with and emphasis on clinical medicine including antepartum fetal evaluation.
- Candidate must have a desire to teach and mentor medical students and residents.
