IVF Michigan Fertility Center is seeking a Part-time or full-time laboratory technician in Andrology lab. IVF Michigan Fertility Center is one of the leading fertility clinics with over 60 years of collective experience and has locations in Bloomfield Hills, Ann Arbor, Dearborn, Saginaw, Macomb, Grand Blanc, Grand Rapids, Traverse City, and Toledo, OH.
A candidate will be working in Toledo lab for 2-3 days/week and in Ann Arbor lab for 1-2 days/week . The orientation will be in main lab that is located in Bloomfield Hills for at least 2-4 weeks. The preferred candidate should have at least a Bachelor's Degree in biological sciences. A minimum of 1 year of clinical or research laboratory experience is required (both animal and human IVF experiences will be preferable).
The candidate should be fully trained in sterile techniques and basic laboratory skills, pipetting, cell counting, using centrifuge, specimen handling & labeling, slide preparation etc. This job requires flexible working schedule and availability for the weekend / holiday / vacation rotation coverage.
The candidate must have a US citizenship or a working visa without any sponsorship. We are looking for a highly motivated person that is detailed oriented and has excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
