The Role You’ll Contribute
The Director of Practice Operations is responsible for the overall operational success of his/her assigned medical practices. Provides strategic leadership and direction utilizing the tools that have been provided, including the coordination of all practice activities except those directly involving professional medical judgment. Works in collaboration with AdventHelath Medical Group (AHMG) corporate support departments and AdventHealth (AH) to meet the needs of the assigned practices and maintain efficient operations. Position requires a high degree of independence, initiative, judgment, and follow-through on a wide range of sensitive and complex issues.
The Value You’ll Bring To The Team
- Collaborates with appropriate partners on the execution of strategic and operational plans, which include space planning to accommodate growth, including fellowships, residencies, and other learners.
- Manage and balance provider template for optimized utilization. Monitor provider's template utilization and productivity to determine a need to add or consolidate, including fellowships, residencies, and other learners.
- Represent AHMG and service line during each step of the recruitment process. This includes identifying and communicating a need for new provider, as well as, monitoring additional provider recruitment triggers.
- Evaluate and manage quality metrics to drive clinical quality and patient safety. This includes oversight and accountability for PSQA outcomes, appropriate licenses, certifications, accreditations, onsite inspections, and risk events.
- Focus on consumer experience through the oversight and accountability of Press Ganey (HCAPs) performance and managing action plans. Accountable for the effective implementation and sustainment of consumer initiatives and escalating complaints as needed. Develop creative plans to meet consumer needs. Also, provide oversight and accountability of productivity for Five9, Online and In Office Scheduling, CxC referrals.
Minimum Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare or related field
- 5 years of healthcare management experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified by the American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE)
