Responsibilities
Scope and Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial Strategy and Execution:
- Lead the development and execution of a global commercial strategy for Cryo and Digital Services (RIW, Cryo billing, shipping, and fertility preservation).
- Focus on sales growth and market penetration, ensuring that digital and Cryo services meet market demands and align with CooperSurgical’s overall business objectives.
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies that increase sales of hardware, tags consumption, and software globally.
- Business Development & Market Expansion:
- Drive the expansion of Cryo and Digital Services into new and existing markets by identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Collaborate closely with global marketing, Strategic Accounts, and product managers to create targeted sales campaigns and commercial roadmaps.
- Identify synergies across fertility services (Cryo, genomics, donor gametes) to enhance cross-service offerings and maximize revenue opportunities.
- Sales Leadership:
- Oversee the Business Development, Technical Sales/Subject Matter Experts, and Customer Success teams to drive results-oriented commercial execution.
- Lead high-level customer engagements and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including IVF customers, regulatory bodies, and industry partners, to secure and grow business relationships.
- Establish sales performance targets and ensure the team delivers on key sales objectives, including revenue growth, customer acquisition, and retention.
- Customer Success & Relationship Management:
- Ensure Cryo and Digital services continuously meet customer needs and adapt to industry trends.
- Oversee the Customer Success function, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service and post-sales support to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key customers and partners, regularly engaging to understand evolving market needs.
- Sales Innovation & Digital Adoption:
- Lead the adoption of new digital tools, technologies, and automation within fertility clinics to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with global marketing, R&D and IT teams to ensure that innovations in Cryo and Digital services align with market requirements and are commercially viable.
- Drive internal and external education programs to promote the adoption of digital solutions and improve product utilization rates.
- Sales Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Regularly review sales performance metrics, including market penetration, revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and product adoption rates.
- Provide detailed reports to executive leadership on sales progress, market trends, challenges, and growth opportunities.
- Continuously assess the competitive landscape and make data-driven adjustments to the commercial strategy to maintain market leadership.
Travel: Up to 20% global travel required to support commercial efforts, develop team capabilities, and strengthen customer relationships.
Qualifications
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Sales Leadership: Proven ability to lead high-performing commercial teams, with a track record of driving sales growth and achieving market share expansion.
- Commercial Strategy: Experience developing and executing commercial strategies in healthcare or fertility services, with a strong focus on revenue generation.
- Market Penetration: Ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities for expanding market presence, with expertise in creating go-to-market strategies that drive business growth.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills, working across departments such as marketing, R&D, and customer success to deliver cohesive commercial strategies.
- Analytical Mindset: Data-driven approach to decision-making, with the ability to analyze market trends, sales performance, and customer needs to inform commercial actions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders.
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in sales, business development, or commercial leadership in digital services or technology innovation within healthcare, preferably in fertility.
- Demonstrated success in leading global sales strategies for digital and Cryo services with significant revenue targets.
- Experience with electronic witnessing, automation, or healthcare technology solutions is a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or a related field is required.
- MBA or an advanced degree in business or a related field is preferred.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $210,000 - $240,000. The actual base pay includes many factors, and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
