Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures, including abdominal, vascular, and obstetric/gynecologic studies.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.
- Assess and document patient conditions, providing clear communication to physicians.
- Ensure patient comfort and care throughout procedures, explaining processes as needed.
- Follow established safety and infection control protocols.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of procedures and findings.
Requirements
- ARDMS certification (or equivalent credential).
- Active North Carolina state license (if required).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Tech in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Proficiency in a variety of ultrasound modalities.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
