About The Position
Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: OB/GYN (Labor and Delivery, Postpartum) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30); Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Guaranteed Hours: [Information Not Provided] Experience: Minimum 1 year with strong OB experience License: MN state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) Must-Have: - Labor and Delivery experience - OB experience (Labor delivery, post-partum, nursery, and couplet care) Job Description: - Open to accommodating block schedule depending on facility needs - Required to work every other weekend or every third weekend - No on-call requirement - Patient ratios for all shifts: 1:4 - First-time candidates are accepted - Pending license accepted with proof of application date - Floating within scope may be required based on facility needs - Local candidates not accepted within 50 miles of the facility - RTO must be finalized with submission. No RTO within the first week of assignment start, and a maximum of 10 days off per assignment. - Orientation period comprises 14 non-billable hours. - COVID-19 vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only Additional Requirements: - RTO restricted to a maximum of 7 days, with no RTO permitted within the first 2 weeks of assignment. - Holiday work may be required, as needed. - Travelers must complete livescan fingerprinting in person within Minnesota before the assignment starts. - Orientation involves 14 hours of mandatory training. Note: This position is located in a critical access type of facility with Adult Level IV trauma designation. Charts are managed through the Epic system.
