Job Overview:
The ideal candidate will be leading accounting team based in Europe, mainly in Lithuania, responsible for full set of accounts and monthly closing/reporting. Candidate will also work on the financial planning and analysis, drive the cost efficiency, coach team members. Candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, independent, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for month-end closing, review monthly financial reports and other reports as required by management.
- Maintain balance sheet reviews and monitor working capital level including provision level review on a regular basis.
- Drive CAPEX control, productivity and ROI analysis
- Act as key advisor for accounting policy and IFRS rules to the team
- Participate in short and long-term financial planning processes across all business units, including forecasting, reporting, and periodic operational metrics analysis and tracking
- Understand and analyse the key drivers in each business segment to validate forecast and to support business leaders in establishing data-driven decisions and strategies
- Provide accurate financial advice on all business matters by performing ongoing, timely and meaningful financial analysis.
- Work with external parties on audit, compliance topics.
- Ensure compliance with all accounting, tax, statutory, legislative requirements and group policies
- Lead, manage and develop a high-performing accounting team, promote high performance, teamwork and continuous improvement culture.
- Other tasks assigned by management.
The Ideal Candidate Would Possess:
- Degree in Accountancy, with at least three (10) years working experience in General accounting and reporting and 3 years in a management position.
- Finance share service management is a plus.
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CA/CPA)
- Audit background preferred, but not compulsory
- Organized, analytical, and can work under pressure
- Can maintain high accuracy of work
- Fluent in English
