ESCO Technologies Inc is the US subsidiary of ESCO Lifesciences Group, based in Horsham, PA. We are a cohesive team of 15 people, who are managing ESCO Lab and Medical division in the US, based on teamwork, in relatively informal and progressive setting. We are nimble to adapt to changing environment, and each individual contribution make a profound impact in company performance.
We are looking for Service Engineers, whose mission is to ensure that our customers have a superior experience with our IVF Medical products. Candidates shall possess superlative customer facing skills, and being adept in hands-on problem solving, providing technical support & training, manage schedule & inventory, provide design feedback, and a sense of adventure to travel & discover new things. This position is primarily based on traveling across US by flights. Location: Horsham, PA
Job Responsibilities:
- 90% travel across US, (occasional International) to install, test, service, and market our products.
- Solve technical issues on-line and on-site to ensure customer satisfaction in our products.
- Support our sales team on technical inquiries, and able to offer the most suitable products.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using schematics and precision measuring instruments.
- Provide product and service training so customers are confident with our products.
- Inspect and test the products in warehouse prior to shipment, for smooth installation.
- Organize the units that require in-house testing and rectification, to be shipped timely.
- Organize and identify inventory of replacement parts and order stock, to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain a complete service log to keep track on service issues.
- Communicate directly with factory, issue Defect Reporting Form, and track parts shipment.
- Analyze and quote proper replacement parts. Manage, send, and keep track of ordered parts.
- Perform and/or supervise hands-on installation, preventive maintenance, and rectification.
- Attend trade shows to sell IVF medical equipment based on technical knowledge and field experience.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while performing field service tasks.
- Other projects/duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in biomedical, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
- Knowledge of life science applications and laboratory equipment.
- Possess valid US passport, driver’s license, and credit card for traveling.
- Being able to lift 50+ pounds.
- Able to work in a team-based environment and help other team members in need.
- Organized, enthusiastic, self-motivated, willing to do what it takes to get the job done.
- Possess superb customer service skills and follow-up with open issues until they’re settled.
- Able to pass the substance and background check.
