Make a Real Difference in the Lives of Expectant Mothers
In this dynamic and rewarding role, you'll work collaboratively with our team of experienced Midwives and healthcare professionals to deliver personalised care to women facing complex pregnancy challenges, including preterm labour, multiple pregnancies, and other high-risk conditions. Your expertise and compassion will be instrumental in helping us provide exceptional care and support to these vulnerable women, empowering them to have a safe and healthy pregnancy experience.
Join us at the forefront of maternal health by assisting our Complex Pregnancy Manager in evaluating and delivering essential components of the SBL care bundle.
Your role will involve actively engaging in the education and training of our multidisciplinary staff, ensuring that each team member receives hands-on, face-to-face training tailored to their needs. You’ll manage competence documentation and maintain accurate training logs, ensuring our team is always equipped to provide the best care.
As a critical part of our commitment to excellence, you’ll identify risk factors in pregnancies and oversee the referral process for our preterm clinic, guiding at-risk women through the appropriate pathways. Your clinical expertise in the Foetal Medicine Unit and Antenatal Day Unit will ensure that every woman receives evidence-based, compassionate care, with timely referrals to tertiary services when necessary.
You’ll also play a key role in conducting regular audits, ensuring that all women attending the unit receive personalised care aligned with their clinical needs and the best current practices. Additionally, you’ll contribute to our reporting on the National Preterm Database, helping to shape the future of maternal care.
