Committed to our role as a healthcare leader, we continually adapt to meet the community's evolving needs.WHAT DOES YOUR DAY AS AN OBSTETRICS NURSE MANAGER ENTAIL?Your typical schedule will consist of two 12-hour shifts as a registered nurse (RN) and two administrative days, equating to 40 hours per week.As the Obstetrics Nurse Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing department employees, overseeing policies, and handling daily issues to ensure the efficient operation of the OB unit. Your responsibilities will include providing direction for patient care in the maternity and newborn care setting and ensuring that high-quality care is delivered to every mother and baby who enters our facility. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for both patients and staff, contributing to the overall success of our OB department. We deliver about 1 baby per day, there are 2 RN's on shift and this position reports to the CNO.DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES? Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree Current licensure to practice as an RN by the Arizona State Board of Nursing 2+ years of progressive nursing experience in which principles of nursing practice, judgment, and supervisory abilities have been demonstrated A master's degree is preferred but not required.**Relocation to the service area is Required** Additional Information:1) Flu vaccine is required NO exceptions 2) 100 MILE RADIUS RULE* We will not accept a traveler that has a perm address within 100 miles of our hospital. 3) RTO: No more than 3 days may be requested per 13-week contract 4) Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment and guaranteed hours will not apply Position Billing string = Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center Guaranteed Hours: Contract
