About The Position
Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Post Partum, Obstetrics RN, Nursery, Labor and Delivery Nurse Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night shift, 18:45-07:00 Guaranteed Hours: 36 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Registered Nurse Certifications: Must-Have: Experience in labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn care Job Description: - Work in the Labor and Delivery Unit, providing care for laboring patients, postpartum, and newborns. - Handle triage and non-stress tests (NSTs). - Serve as a second nurse and manage overflow situations. - Provide care for women and their newborn infants after childbirth. - Assist patients with complications during pregnancy or the birthing process. - Collaborate with other professional disciplines to provide excellent care. - Offer critical support to pregnant patients throughout the childbirth and postpartum period. - Holiday coverage is required. - Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system preferred.
