We are currently seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at our Mullica Hill office. 40 hours/week. OB/GYN Experience Preferred. Triage and OB Coordinator. Main responsibilities are: Assess patients who call the office to determine what type of care they need and the urgency of their condition. Monitor OB patients for compliance with testing. Prepare patients' charts for Labor and Delivery.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Evaluate and assess patient’s health care needs based on patient’s signs and symptoms utilizing established triage protocols and guidelines.
- Obtain appropriate input and direction from the provider, as needed, to determine best clinical course of action and recommendations for specific patient health care.
- Schedule patient's appropriate for procedures and appointments.
- Accurately document symptoms/complaints, nursing assessment, advice provided and patient/caller response in EMR. Follow policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure consistency and departmental effectiveness as well as improve health care outcomes of patients/callers and their access to appropriate health.
- Phone triage, review labs, return patient phone calls, document charts.
- Follow policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure consistency and departmental effectiveness as well as improved health care outcomes of patients/callers.
- Order medical supplies as needed.
- Hours will be M-F.
Qualified candidates will have experience as a Licensed Registered Nurse, CPR certification, and a minimum of 1 year experience working in a medical facility, preferably in an OB/GYN/Fertility setting. Knowledge of CPT coding, lab specific order sets, and eClinicalWorks are beneficial.
