The clinic is located on the hospital campus with many resources readily available. McPherson Hospital is licensed for 49 beds including Medical/Surgical, ICU, Labor & Delivery, Surgical and Emergency Services including Level IV Trauma designation. In addition to inpatient service the hospital offers state-of-the-art Outpatient Services including full Radiology (X-ray, MRI, CT, Mammography, Sonography, Interventional Radiology), Respiratory Care services including Sleep Studies, Laboratory, Therapy (PT, OT, Speech), Clinical Dietician, Wound Clinic, Occupational Health, and Infusions. 24/7 Emergency Department physician group and hospitalist team support acute care and offer clinic providers support for work life balance. Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician to our family.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated
experienced Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality care to our diverse patient population, including prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum care. You will play a crucial role in our community, working closely with patients and their families to promote health, wellness, and preventative care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides outpatient obstetrics and gynecology services throughout clinic and hospital.
- Provides inpatient obstetrics and gynecology services, including infant delivery and related surgical procedures in the hospital.
- Participates in administrative duties, including lab reports, charts, and medication refills reviewed and managed appropriately.
- Participate in OB on-call rotation with other dedicated delivering physicians.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans and coordinate patient care.
- Completes all required documentation accurately, timely, and thoroughly in accordance with department standards and to comply with electronic medical record requirements,
- Engage with patients and families to promote health education and wellness initiatives.
- - Participate in community outreach programs and contribute to the clinic's growth and development.
- - Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with clinic policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- Completed an accredited Obstetrics & Gynecology residency.
- Current state medical license and DEA registration.
- Strong clinical skills in both obstetrics & gynecology.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to rural healthcare and community involvement.
