What You'll Be Doing
- To provide quality Dietetic clinical patient care and project management services to the Integrated Care Program in the Far West LHD (based at Broken Hill Health Service), including case coordination and key project work (focus on women’s health).
- Based in the Broken Hill Hospital, provide evidenced based dietary intervention in a therapeutic setting.
- Participate in all areas of assessment and treatment relevant to level of training and experience.
- Gain invaluable hospital experience in a rural setting, supported by the Dietetics Team Leader.

How To Apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible:
- Tertiary qualifications in Dietetics with eligibility for Accredited Practising Dietitian status with the Dietitians' Australia.
- Demonstrated application of professional and ethical boundaries to the delivery of patient care in the context of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Demonstrated application of evidence based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement individualised person centred care patient care.
- Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner and personally resolve conflicts when they arise.
- Demonstrated application of project management skills or working towards.
- Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills, and willingness to apply and share professional expertise with colleagues.
- Evidence of sound knowledge in Primary Health Care Models with experience working in nutrition and dietetics including health promotion, and ability to apply current evidence based practice.
- Ability to provide programs and interventions for people with complex or chronic diseases with a focus on women’s health.
