Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Bi-Lingual Medical Assistant with a minimum of 1 year of overall medical assisting experience with a passion for reproductive health. As a key member of our healthcare team in our location in Parker, CO you will play a vital role in providing compassionate patient care and supporting our care team in fertility treatments.
This role functions closely with the physician, IVF nurse, and the office clinical team and other Onto team members as needed. This adaptable team player isn’t afraid to wear many hats and think outside the box as they will also have other job responsibilities. This includes being able to assist on the front desk as well as learn all aspects of fertility care and treatment. Responsibilities
Patient Care:
- Provide compassionate care and support to patients undergoing fertility treatments.
- Collect and record patient medical histories and vital signs.
- Check patients in and out of the location using the EMR system.
Clinical Support:
- Prepare and maintain examination and treatment rooms.
- Assist with procedures related to fertility and reproductive health.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
- Perform venipuncture responsibilities which includes collecting, labeling and documenting specimens as necessary.
- Act as point of contact for laboratory and biohazardous waste vendors.
Administrative Duties:
- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding fertility treatments.
- Assist in verification of eligible patient insurance benefits.
- Maintain relevant supply inventory.
Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff.
- Communicate clearly with office clinical team staff and nurses on a daily basis regarding any changes in the appointment schedule and to navigate patient questions and concerns.
Compliance:
- Adhere to all relevant medical, ethical, and legal standards.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations in handling patient information.
- Maintain, clean and/or sterilize medical and surgical equipment.
- Handle properly the disposal of infectious and/or hazardous waste, per OSHA protocol.
Qualifications
- Bilingual (fluent in English, Spanish) a must.
- Proficiency in phlebotomy
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification preferred, but not required.
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in a fertility or reproductive health setting is preferred.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday and one weekend per month..
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical/Mental Requirements
- Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; typing; viewing a computer monitor, extensive reading.
- Required to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
