About the Role:
- Multidisciplinary collaboration: Work with a diverse team of specialists, including on-site paediatricians, surgeons, physicians, obstetricians, anaesthetists, and more
- Comprehensive care: Manage patient care in collaboration with fellow Rural Generalists, Specialist Consultants, General Practitioners, and Allied Health Professionals
- Emergency response: Participate in a 24/7 roster, including Code Blue emergency calls
- Teaching and mentorship: Contribute to the training of junior doctors, medical students, and other health professionals
- Continuous improvement: Engage in quality improvement initiatives and ensure best-practice care for patients
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent
- Fellowship with ACRRM or RACGP, or eligibility for specialist registration with AHPRA
- Experience in managing adult and paediatric emergencies and inpatient services
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
