Summary: ReproTech’s Biorepository Manager is responsible for working with ReproTech operations, quality and technology professionals, leading the efforts to continuously improve the safety and efficiency of the company’s biorepository systems. The Biorepository Manager will be responsible for the operations and quality control of specimen tracking, storage, and distribution. This role will oversee ReproTech’s digital specimen tracking system and chain of custody processes. This role will be responsible for ReproTech’s cryostorage tank technology, tank monitoring systems and the overall health and safety of our biorepository. The Biorepository Manager will also be a key ambassador for communicating ReproTech’s safety and compliance efforts to clinic partners and other interested community partners.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Lead/facilitate the efforts to continuously improve the safety and efficiency of the company’s biorepository systems.
· Enhance existing biorepository SOPs and procedures, developing new instructions as needed.
· Ensure the safest and most efficient specimen tracking and chain of custody systems.
· Develop audit and reporting methodologies for specimen chain of custody.
· Continuously improve ReproTech’s specimen handling procedures.
· Analyze and recommend cryostorage tank manufacturers and technology.
· Be the subject matter expert for all tank monitoring and troubleshoot issues with site staff. Work with each site’s Equipment Specialists to ensure that the maintenance of tanks, related equipment, and monitoring systems are functioning properly.
· Advise leadership on improved shipping and receiving logistics with preferred carriers and in-person transportation.
· Develop storage capacity planning in conjunction with operations leadership.
· Ability to strategize, plan and implement change. Ability to manage complex projects and resources (people, costs, time).
· Work in collaboration with the quality & technology teams to develop, implement and oversee improved cryostorage tank technology.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with cryostorage tank manufacturers.
· Attend industry related meetings, including ASRM and embryology regional meetings, to communicate ReproTech’s safety and compliance efforts to clinic partners and other interested parties.
· Travel to all ReproTech sites at least annually to conduct site visits of biorepository health.

LOCATION:
Working in office/hybrid at a ReproTech biorepository site is preferred. ReproTech sites are located in Dallas, TX, Saint Paul, MN, Reno, NV, Coconut Creek, FL, and Trumbull, CT. For the right candidate, remote work would be available with travel consistent with the requirements below.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor of Science degree required, advanced degree preferred.
· Comprehensive working knowledge in job-related functional areas: reproductive medical field, biorepository, and embryology.
· 5+ years of direct embryology or biorepository experience.
· Depending on location, ability to travel 35-50% of working days.
· Strong relationship building abilities, both internally and externally to ReproTech clients.
· Approach problem-solving, new idea generation and analyses in a creative, credible and pragmatic way to guide team in solving complex problems while minimizing unproductive efforts (unnecessary analyses, re-work).
· Strong leadership presence, exceptional communications/interpersonal skills, and the ability to motivate/manage at all organizational levels.
· Ready to navigate complex solutions and create sustainable and scalable operational processes.
· Be a curious collaborator and strong team player.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
