Kindbody’s clinically-managed program covers the full-spectrum of reproductive health, including both female and male fertility, which encompasses fertility assessments and education, fertility preservation, genetic testing, in vitro fertilization (IVF), donor and surrogacy services, and adoption, as well as a full continuum of reproductive care including physical, mental, and emotional support.
**This is a floating position between several locations**
Proposed Schedule:
- Hoffman Estates or Wicker Park - Monday/Wednesday/Friday - 8am - 4:30pm
- Aurora -- Tuesdays and Thursdays - 8am - 4:30pm
Responsibilities
- Perform semen analysis and endocrine testing as applicable
- Prepare semen for intrauterine insemination (IUI) and in vitro fertilization (IVF)
- Prepare semen for cryopreservation and storage
- Maintain accurate laboratory records
- Perform quality control procedures and monitor KPIs
- Participate in the laboratory’s quality management program inclusive of all Kindbody labs
- And other responsibilities and ad-hoc projects from time to time, based on business needs.
Who You Are
- CLS License Preferred but not required for this location
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific field required (Biology, Chemistry, or Medical Technology, etc.)
- 2+ years experience in a clinical laboratory setting - Endocrine experience required & Fertility experience preferred
- Familiarity with the Beckman Access 2 analyzer is a plus
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Exceptionally detail-oriented
- High level of accountability, proven track record of taking ownership and solving problems
- Strong communication/interpersonal skills; able to successfully build cross-functional relationships
- Team player and collaborator
- Exceptional follow-through
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, with the ability to flex into responsibilities outside of role to support business growth
- Weekend and holiday rotation required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
