The Women's Health Unit at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Clinical Nurse
(Extended Midwifery Service) to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity
The Clinical Nurse/Midwife provides advanced level clinical skills to ensure patient-focused evidence-based nursing/midwife care, plans and coordinates the clinical management of patient/client care and provides leadership and support to other nursing/midwife staff within the Women's Health Unit.

The Extended Midwifery Service is part of the Women's Health Unit at Mackay Base Hospital.
The Women's Health Unit has average of 1400 births per year. Midwifery Models of care are offered , Birth centre Low risk, Post Graduate MGP low risk and Aboriginal &Torres Strait Islander all risk MGP. Opportunities for ongoing education and career advancement are offered, with team work and collaboration is a central value.
